For many years, I’ve tried to quit drinking coffee. Coffee doesn’t do anything for me. I could drink buckets right before bed and still knock out on cue. However, I am sensitive in that I get the nastiest headaches and withdrawal from lack of coffee. I can’t help it though. I just enjoy the taste and smell of coffee.
Over the years, I’ve also developed a liking for protein powders, shakes, and supplements. It was a hot summer day. I was making iced coffee; I saw my protein powder, and the rest was history. This is the easiest protein iced coffee recipe you’ll ever stumble upon. It tastes almost like a latte, especially with the foam from the protein powder. It’s really good. The best part is playing with the powders and creamers to come up with the best-tasting combinations.
If you prefer iced coffee or it’s too cold at the time of reading, check out the adapted Vanilla Protein Coffee recipe here.
Please note: This recipe requires frozen coffee. Please brew and freeze your favorite coffee the night before making the recipe. You can use any coffee brand you like, but I prefer Bustelo.
