Modus: Tapout Blend 2.0 & 3.0 Vape Info & Review

Modus: Tapout Blend sativa strain vape info and review featured.

Today’s review is going to be a little different because I’m technically recapping two products. If you go back to my Modus articles, then you’ll know that I switched to my normal routine. While I would normally get a High Leaf or Flying Horse pen from the Smoke Shop near me, I stumbled upon the Modus brand and just had to give it a try.

At first, I started with the gummies, but when I went online to find more edibles, I found a huge selection of vapes. Since the site was having a sale and I was already putting an order in, I decided to purchase a handful of vapes. Normally I opt for a 7-9g vape that would last about a month. So I purchased about 11g total to last me the month. Only I spread it out between various flavors and chemical makeups.

The first vape I opened and tried was the Modus Knockout Blend 3.0. To be honest, I was disappointed by the strength and flavor. The vape was cute and did last longer than expected, though. After trying that vape, I moved on to the Tapout blends, where I’ll just tell you now, I was much more impressed.

So to begin, I received two variations of the Tapout Blend vapes. I purchased the 2.0, but the 3.0 came as a free gift. Since they’re both the special Tapout Blend, I figured I’d review them together.

Both Tapout 2.0 and Tapout 3.0 are made of the same chemical compounds which include Delta 11, THC-X, Delta 8 Liquid Diamonds, THC-B, and CDT. This vape, in general, was totally out of my comfort zone, as most of these derivatives I was unfamiliar with. However, I was impressed once I finally took them out of the packages.

Tapout Blend Overview

So here are the biggest differences between the 2.0 and the 3.0:

  • 2.0 was 2g
  • 3.0 was 3g
  • 2.0 was a cartridge, meaning I needed a battery to connect it to
  • 3.0 was a white disposable plastic vape
  • 2.0 was all glass
  • 3.0 was Zlushie and more flavorful than all the other Modus vapes

Now, with that being said, let’s review some of these details a little closer. First, I tried the 3.0 vape, which was the Zlushie strain containing about 20% THC. The vape pen was white, slim, and long. Not at all like the smaller, more compact green ones I received. The flavor was absolutely amazing, and it was the only vape out of the four with as strong of a flavoring.

The pull was also fantastic for such a small pen. Creating some transitional videos with this pen was actually easier than I thought it would be, given how big and powerful the clouds can be. Surprisingly, the 3g vape also lasted quite a bit, about 3 weeks, even with it being glued to my mouth.

However, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the pen design itself. I’ve had other pens with a similar design and they all seem to have similar issues. After a few weeks of using the pen, some oil would seep out from the bottom charger area or the pull would get clogged about halfway through. Luckily, this pen wasn’t as bad as some of the other versions I’ve tried, but it was kind of annoying and I hate the idea of wasting oil.

Zlushie and Trap Star Are Sativa Strains

THC: 20%Effects: Focus, creative, and energetic
Strain: SativaGood for: depression, stress, and anxiety

Overall, though, I was surprised and impressed. Especially when it came to high strength. As I mentioned, I wasn’t familiar with the derivatives used in this Tapout Blend. I tend to stick with THCa, THCp, and THCo, so there were a lot of new compounds in this mix, but don’t let that scare you. It was strong and powerful and gave me a lasting high.

Now, the 2.0, which was Trap Star, containing about 23% THC, wasn’t that much different, but I did have a few issues. The first is the cartridge is all glass. Listen, if you’re clumsy like me and always drop vapes, my biggest warning is to tape carts up beforehand. I’ve had more than my fair share of glass vapes and I often break most of them. I usually forget they’re in my lap, stand up, and boom! They crash to the floor, which is exactly what happened to this one.

Luckily, I was still able to tape the glass cart and use the rest, but it was heartbreaking. My other biggest complaint was the flavoring. The 3.0 Zlushie just tasted so delicious and actually like sweet candy. It didn’t taste like weed like the other vape. Meanwhile, the 2.0 lacked severely in flavoring. Not as back as the Knockout blend, but definitely not as good as the 3.0.

The 2.0 though, was still powerful, provided lots of clouds and definitely got me high. I would just need to be more aware of how I take care of my products.

Modus: Tapout Blend Personal Rating

Modus: Tapout Blend 2.0 & 3.0 Vape Rating and Overview.

Let’s get straight to the point, shall we? Right off the bat, I can tell you that this vape was infinitely better than the other Modus vape I tried. The flavoring was so delicious and powerful. The 3.0 was certainly stronger than the 2.0, so while the 3.0 earned an 8 out of 10, I would say the 2.0 was a 7 out of 10. Either way, bother were delicious, and I looked forward to smoking both kinds. As for the Clog factor, this version did go up a point from the other Modus vape.

The 2.0 cartridge was fine with very little problems. However, the 3.0 design not only had a few clogs but also leaked as it got toward the end. Annoying and messy, but I also felt like I got my moneys worth before the issues became overwhelming. The Pull Factor was on point, earning a 2 out of 10. Then that leaves to High Strength, which totally blew me away.

I was disappointed by the other Modus vape. It wasn’t as strong as I’d hope for, but this vape changed the game. A few pulls and I was good to go. This chemical makeup was certainly better than the others, bringing the High Strength to a solid 8 out of 10. Overall, these Tapout Blend vapes earned a 7.5 out of 10.

Final conclusion

When it comes to the Tapout Blends, I can definitely see myself repurchased. I would, however, probably stay away from the 2.0 because of its glass design. I could tolerate the less flavor, but I just don’t find glass carts to be the best option for me. However, I would definitely purchase and recommend the 3.0 and would be open to trying other flavors.

Obviously, I cannot recommend real weed. The laws around MJ are still iffy, but I can recommend hemp products like THCA and Delta 9. Over the years, I’ve tried many derivatives. I’ll share more of experiences as I share more of my journeys, but for now, some of my favorites are THCA, THCO, and THCP. In fact, most of my vapes are THCA or THCO.

Finding delicious alternatives to flowers and finding reputable companies to purchase from is no easy task. But today’s your lucky day. I’ve done all the research, so you don’t have to. The Modus Brand website offers all their gummies, vapes, and more at such an affordable price. Shipping was quick and discreet, and they offer free goodies on purchases.
