What a world we live in today. Back in the old days, our parents and grandparents had to sneak away to break up some flowers and air out before they returned. Today, we can vape, eat, and even drink cannabis. When I discovered Pamos and Find Wunder, I was intrigued by their products. Part of my physical health journey consisted of limiting my alcohol intake and thought these spritzers would be a good compromise.
They surely were. Even at a low dose of 10mg per serving, I got a nice and almost immediate buzz from the drinks. So of course, when I saw these 50mg drinks by Crescent 9, I had to give one a shot.
I saw these at a Smoke Shop in the Countryside (not the same one I usually get the vapes from). I was more interested in some of their paraphernalia, but the store had a small fridge near the front with a few different brands of these infused seltzers. The price for these drinks were steep, coming in at $20 a pop. But they were definitely worth it.
Crescent 9: Infused Seltzer Overview
The guy at the store was ranting and raving about these Crescent 9 drinks and I can see why. While I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Strawberry Lemonade flavor I got, the buzz I got was fantastic.
Describing the effects of the drinks are tough. I’ve noticed different methods of consuming cannabis affect me differently. A vape, flower, or an edible all feel different in my body. I can tell that there’s a high, but the high feels different and can be felt in different places in my body. The drinks affect me differently than any of the other products.
These drinks definitely give me more of a “buzz.” It feels like I took a weak show rather than smoking a joint, but I don’t feel drunk. It’s just the buzzing, vibrational feel in my body that’s similar. Otherwise, I wasn’t incapacitated or inebriated. I was still able to clean the house and enjoy game night after drinking the full can.
Crescent 9: Infused Seltzer Personal Rating
So now let’s talk about the ratings. When it comes to Flavor and Aftertaste, both ratings scored a 6 out of 10. I generally like most Lemonade flavors but this just wasn’t hitting the spot for me. Unfortunately, unlike the Find Wunder and Pamos, the Crescent 9 didn’t taste much better with a can of Sprite. Overall, it was an okay flavor but not exactly what I was expecting. The hemp or CBD flavor wasn’t strong though, which was suprising for its high strength,
While the Flavor and Aftertaste wasn’t the best, the Aroma smelled lovely and scored an 8 out of 20. As for the Potency and Peak Effect, the Crescent 9 drink scored a solid 9 out of 10. I started to feel a buzz just a few sips in, much like alcohol on an empty stomach. The Activation time earned a 10 out of 10 since I started to notice and feel the effects almost instantly. In the end, this Crescent 9 drink scored an 8 out of 10.
Final conclusion: I did like this drink and its effects. The only complaint I had was the flavoring. So I would definitely recommend this product and I would purchase again, but I would try out different flavors instead.
