It had been a while since I went to the Smoke Shop in the countryside. The owner was gone for months, visiting family in his home country. He left his wife in charge, but she didn’t provide the same customer service.
So for the most part, I ran to the store for a few odds and ends unrelated to 420 and went right back home. But the owner came back just in time for me to take a vacation of my own. I was getting on a plane and heading to the west coast and I needed products that would help me throughout the experience.
Of course the smoke shop had the Flying Horse edibles, so I bought a handful of those for my trip. Then of course I needed a vape. I was going to Vegas and I would be near a dispensary where I could get some flower, but I wanted to make sure I was set before I even left. (#teamtaurus)
I was lucky though. The smoke shop had a new pen available. It was 8g just like the Flying Horse vapes I really enjoy. These vapes were made with THCA and THCP, two derivatives I’ve come to love.

And so I bought a handful of gummies and that new vape and let me just say — it was the perfect addition to the trip.
The vape lasted a long time, and that’s all I smoked in the casinos (and I was smoking like a chimney). It wasn’t suspicious. The smell wasn’t obvious or overpowering. No one had a clue what I was smoking.
When I came back from Vegas, I still had well over half the vape left, making it one of the longest lasting vapes I’ve had. The only real complaint I have is regarding flavor. The box embellishments suggested there three flavor profiles, but I found the vape to be more bland and weed tasting. The flavor only seemed to disappear with more usage.

Overall, though I enjoyed this vape. A few good pulls had me feeling nice. I was able to get the vape through airport security with no issues (same with the gummies even though it’s legal). I still have the vape now and it’s been well over a month since I bought it… it’s still got about a quarter left and my smoking habits haven’t changed much. Whatever formula they’re using seems to be working well.
The biggest issues I had, similar to a few other vapes I’ve tried in the past, the Cosmic Stardust was categorized as a Sativa, but I discovered it’s actually an indica strain upon further research. According to Leafly, this strain contains a high THC percentage, coming in at about 21%. Also, it is a triple crossbreed, created by combining:
- Chem Dog
- Key Lime Pie
- Northern Lights
The Cosmic Stardust strain, being an indica flower, is known for its relaxation properties. It’s also known to provide tingly effects and boost creativity. Additionally, this strain is good for depression, stress, and anxiety.
Cosmic Stardust by Doozy Extracts Personal Rating
Now it’s time to breakdown the ratings. When it comes to the Clogs and Pull Force, this Doozy Extracts vape was on point. Much like the Flying Horse and High Leaf vapes, the clogs were minimal. If it did get clogged, it was more because it was on its side in my pocket and unclogging it wasn’t the hardest thing to do. A soft, light pull also released a decent amount of clouds.
The flavoring profile earned a 5 out of 10. It wasn’t a bad flavor, just not as powerful as I expected and it didn’t last as long as the oil did. The High Strength is the best part. I knew I made the right choice by picking a THCA and THCP product. I don’t think the oil is harsh either and the chemical makeup lasted far longer than the other vapes I’ve tried.
Final Conclusion: Overall, I would definitely purchase and recommend this vape. I love how long it lasted and how powerful and potent it was. This brand was also a little less harsh than other vapes, which I really liked. I would just try a different flavor and see how that fares.
