After maintaining the same routine for the last half of 2024, I needed a content shift. Plus, the store in the City didn’t have the best options or deals to choose from on a regular basis. So I switched my focus to more of the edibles and other products you can find online.
This month, the haul from the city was the most satisfying it’s been in a long time. While this article specifically is about the vape I bought from them, I did purchase weed and it was soooo good.
The store seemed to be going through some troubles the last few months. A massive message went out that they’d be switching locations, only for them to stay in the same spot. However, since they were supposed to close out, they had a massive sale, including 1 gram vapes for $12.
Normally I stick to the large vapes like High Leaf or Flying Horse pens that I enjoy so much. But since they were so cheap and I was already in the store, I figured why not. It’s been about over a year now since I’ve strayed away from my traditional vapes.
Sauce Platinum Rose Vape Overview
I have to admit I was pretty surprised by these vapes and I say these because the following week I picked up another. The first one I got was Platinum Rose, which was a sativa hybrid. The vape had a sweet undertone to it I enjoyed, but it wasn’t as flavorful as some of the other vapes I’ve had.
The second vape I got was Ghost Train Haze, which was plain sativa. As someone who is used to the 8g vapes, these pens looked and felt tiny in my hands. Yet, they were far more powerful than I anticipated.
The taste was strong. The clouds were big, and they lasted longer than I expected.

Overall, I enjoyed this vape. I was surprised by how strong and how long it lasted. This pen was small and inconspicuous. I think the Rose flavor could’ve been a little stronger, but this was a great vape overall. I didn’t even really have an issue with it clogging, which was also surprising considering how small and compact it is.
Luckily, Sativa-hybrid was accurate for this vape pen. According to Leafly, Platinum Rose is a hybrid strain with about 25% THC, which is strong and it’s created by combining:
- Rose
- Animal Cookies
- Wedding Cake
Additionally, this strain is good for promoting creativity, energy, and talkativeness. This strain is also good for treating anxiety, stress, and depression. I found this vape to be a good compliment to my daily routine. It definitely didn’t slow me down, and it kept me in a good groove.
Platinum Rose Sauce Vape Personal Rating
When it comes to the ratings, these little vapes were on point. I was thoroughly surprised and I’m glad that I tried them while they were on sale. Flavor wise the sauce pens earn a 6 out of 10. The flavor at first is a little more noticeable. Also, the flavors between each cart is distinguishable. However, the flavor is pretty mild and dwindles quickly. Overall, that’s not too big of a deal for me.
Pull Force was awesome. Same with the clogs. I’ve tried similar pens before and I have noticed there to be more clogs, which also leads to an increase in Pull force. I thought it had more to do with the design, but these pens didn’t have those same issues. As a result, both the Pull Force and Clog received a 1 out of 10.
As for the High Strength, this tiny little vape outdid itself. It was just as strong, if not stronger, than some of the other larger vapes I’ve had, earning itself a 8 out of 10. Overall, that brings the final score up to an 8 out of 10.
Final Conclusion
I would definitely buy these vapes again or recommend them to pen smokers. The price point is the major factor for me here. I tried these pens because they were on sale. The sale price was a little a steep for only being a gram. However, it’s still a cheap pen and has proven to last longer than I expected. If they continue to be on sale, I can see myself buying more and maybe even stocking up. If the price goes back up though, I would likely stay away until sale day again.
