Tropical Runtz: Sativa THC-O Wax Info & Review

Tropical Runtz THC-O Wax Info and Review featured.

Last week’s article was about the Lookah Mini Unicorn, an electric dab rig. Now, until I got that nifty little tool, I never dabbed. Well, I’m lying, I tried it once with a friend but that’s certainly not comparable to the experience I have in other areas.

After fiddling around with the Lookah, I feel like a whole new set of doors have opened for me. From equipment to waxes to different brands, I have a lot more opportunities for reviews now. So let’s start with the first one I opened: the sativa THC-P wax, Tropical Runtz.

Of course I would go straight for the sativa, although I’m learning and researching more about terms behind the scenes. However, with that being said, this wax was pretty damn good.

THC: 24%Effects: arouse, energetic, talkative
Strain: Sativa-Dominant HybridGood for: anxiety, stress, depression
Terpenes: Myrcene, Limonene, Linalool

The citrusy flavor was much more powerful than the flower and certainly more along the lines of a solid vape. I also thought it was interesting to try the different formals in the wax form like this. The other two waxes I had along with this one were both different chemical makeups and having them side by side really let me determine how strong they were and if purchasing them again was worth it.

Overall, though I really enjoyed this sativa and having the dab setup right at my desk was probably a major mistake. I ended up treating the Lookah just like a vape and I took big rips every so often as a break from the screen or reward for the work completed.

The hits were smooth. I felt the effects in about 2-3 rips, which generally cleared the wax in the coil and I would say a gram lasted a little over a week.

Tropical Runtz Is a Runtz & Tropic Truffle Crossbreed

I enjoyed the Tropical Runtz, and it was even more fun to compare the Runtz in flower and wax form. Over the last few months, I’ve tried a variety of Runtz strains and they’ve come to be one of my favorites. For this strain in particular, according to Leafly, Tropical Runtz is a sativa-hybrid and has a high THC percentage of 24. It’s also a crossbreed, created by combining:

  • Runtz (hybrid)
  • Tropic Truffle (hybrid)

As I went about my days, I thought this strain to be a well-balanced sativa strain, especially during work. I didn’t get tired, brain fogged or experience a crash. I kept working through the dabs effortlessly. However, that may be attributed to the terpenes, which were Limonene, Myrcene, and Linalool.

Myrcene has an earthy flavor and is known for reducing inflammation and chronic pain, as well as producing indica-like effects. The Limonene terpene is known for its citrusy flavor and can also have antioxidants, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.

Linalool has a floral taste and antimicrobial, sedative, and anti-anxiety effects. All these properties together make this strain ideal for treating stress, anxiety, and depression. It also produces feelings of relaxation, euphoria, and sleepiness.

Tropical Runtz: THC-O Wax Personal Ratings

Tropical Runtz Sativa THC-O Wax Concentrate Rating and Overview.

I feel like rating the waxes is certainly a lot easier than the other weed products. For this Tropical Runtz Sativa wax, the strain earned an 8 out of 10 across all the categories. As for Appearance, this strain was a little cloudy/yellowish, but I’m not sure that it affected the Quality. After trying the other waxes I had, I would say this strain and chemical makeup was just as strong as the others. A few puffs from the Lookah and I was feeling pretty good, making the Potency a solid 8 as well.

As for the Aroma and Flavor, I did think the citrus flavor was strong, but it wasn’t as strong as the other wax I tried along with this one. As a result, those categories also scored an 8 out of 10. Overall, that brings the final score to also an 8 out 10.

Final Conclusion

Hands down, this was a solid wax to try, especially as a beginner in my opinion. I would purchase or recommend Tropical Runtz or an THC-O wax again. The THC-O compound is strong, and I felt the effects almost instantly. Tropical Runtz tasted delicious and as a Sativa, it gave me the boost I needed.

Obviously, I cannot recommend real weed. The laws around MJ are still iffy. Unlike the flower, I don’t run into as many problems recommending hemp products like THCA and THCO. Over the years, I’ve tried many derivatives. I’ll share more of experiences as I share more of my journeys, but for now, some of my favorites are THCA, THCO, and THCP. In fact, most of my vapes are THCA or THCO.

Finding powerful derivatives and reputable companies to purchase from hasn’t been easy, but lucky for you, I’ve done the hard part of researching so you don’t have to. Currently, I’ve partnered with several cannabis companies to bring you some of the most potent hemp, CBD, and THC products at an incredible discounted rates.
