Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito – High Protein, Low Carb

Another weakness I have in terms of food is bread. I don’t know what it is, just love bread. Especially soft, warm, Italian bread. I also love quesadillas. The more I sit and type of food, the more I’m going to spew all the times of feasts I enjoy. Can you tell that I’m a Taurus?

Anyway, new year, new me. I want to be more healthy, blah blah blah all that bullshit, right? So now I gotta find healthier ways to get my fix. Luckily, I’m pretty crafty in the kitchen and don’t mind throwing things together as an experiment. My new diet is high protein because protein has many benefits. Protein builds and heals muscles. As a result, it promotes more lean muscle. It keeps the body full longer because it takes more time to burn off.

Combine this knowledge with a craving for Mexican food and new low carb tortillas and the cheesy bean quesadilla high protein, low carb was created. It’s super simple and quick to make! I whip this up all the time because it’s delicious, filling, and quick!
