High Protein Strawberry Parfait – Quick and Easy

If there’s one I struggle most with in this world, it’s my relationships with sweets. I have a massive sweet tooth and I can’t help it. These soft, warm, gooey baked treats are my biggest weakness. Anything chocolate related is usually pure gold. Some of my all-time favorites flavor combos are chocolate and raspberry, chocolate and coconut, and chocolate and peanut butter. I’m a firm believer that chocolate can fix just about everything. So when it was time for me to crack down on my diet and cut out sweets, I struggled big time. I needed some sort of compromise.

In a moment of desperation, I tossed some yogurt in a bowl and mixed in some fixings. Much to my surprise, the first bite satisfied my sugar craving. I devoured the parfait bowl, and it was scrumptious. I calculated the macros and realized it was much healthier than I thought, especially if I swapped some ingredients for better alternatives. Thus this easy high protein granola parfait was born. Keep in mind, you can always swap the yogurt or other ingredients for different flavors or preferences.
