When I got the Lookah, I had three waxes to choose from. One wax was the Sativa Tropical Runtz and the other two were hybrids. Both were a different strain and chemical makeup from the sativa. While some Binoid products have been disappointing in the past, I was thoroughly pleased with the sativa wax so I was excited to try the other two as well.
The second wax I moved onto was Mandarin Dreams and I realized even more why people enjoy dabbing so much. The orange flavor certainly is on a different level. I could taste the flavor right away, on both the inhale and exhale.
HHC is a compound I’ve had in edibles and I’ve always enjoyed them. I’ve found edibles with HHC in them to be strong and fast acting so I had high hopes for this wax blend. Luckily, I was right. About half a dime-sized glob of this wax in the Lookah had me feeling amazing.

Honestly, I’m not sure why I was so hesitant against the dabs. They remind me of my vapes, especially the bigger more powerful ones. I kept the Lookah at my desk and filled it up every so often. Whenever I was ready, I took a bunch of hits right at the desk. The smell doesn’t linger, and the smoke clears away quickly. The flavor can also be just as powerful with the dabs as they are with the vapes.
Overall, though I really enjoyed this hybrid and having the dab setup right at my desk was probably a major mistake. I ended up treating the Lookah just like a vape and I took big rips every so often as a break from the screen or reward for the work completed.Â
The hits were smooth. I felt the effects in about 2-3 rips, which generally cleared the wax in the coil and I would say a gram lasted a little over a week.
Mandarin Dream Is a Stormtrooper #2 and Mandarin Sunset Crossbreed
The labeling for this wax was correct. The Mandarian Dreams strain is an even hybrid and according to Leafly, Mandarin Dreams is a hybrid with about 17% THC. The strain is created by breeding:

As I went about my days, I thought this strain to be a well-balanced strain, especially during work. I didn’t get tired or brain fog. I kept working through the dabs effortlessly. However, that may be attributed to the terpenes, which were Limonene, Caryophyllene, and Myrcene.
Myrcene has an earthy flavor and is known for reducing inflammation and chronic pain, as well as producing indica-like effects. The Limonene terpene is known for its citrusy flavor, which I thought was pretty evident in the Mandarin Dreams and can also have antioxidants, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.
The Caryophyllene has a spicy or peppery flavor and can also have anti-inflammatory properties. All these properties together make this strain ideal for treating stress, anxiety, and depression. It also produces feelings of relaxation, euphoria, and sleepiness.
Mandarin Dreams: HHC-O Wax Personal Ratings
Overall, I found this brand and strain to be pretty solid. I’m still figuring out all the ins and outs, but when it comes to Appearances, Aroma, Burn, Potency, and Quality, I would give this strain a solid 8 out of 10. The Mandarin Dreams wax was a little cloudy/on the yellowish side. However, I found this wax to be more than strong enough for consistent hits. The smell was noticeable as soon as I took the jar out of the plastic bag.
There were enough globs that it was easy enough to scoop up and fill the coils. The 1gram of wax lasted me over a week and I think I’ve found my new favorite way to get high — especially because the flavoring was amazing. For the Mandarin Dreams, the strain scored a 9 out of 10. The orange flavor was so powerful and the aftertaste lingered. I also found the wax to be smooth, especially as a beginner. As a result, that brings the final score to a 8.5 out of 10. The flavor alone really made this strain stick out to me, especially compared to the other three strains I have.
Final Conclusion
Overall, I would purchase either the Mandarin Dream again or other HHC wax compounds. The price point on Binoid was a little steep, about $30 for the gram (on sale) or $100 for a four pack, but I was impressed for a legal wax that I could buy online. The shipping was quick, easy, and discreet, making it the perfect option for people who don’t have regular access to wax.
