Once I realized how much I enjoyed the Modus Tapout 3.0 gummies, life changed for me. $30 for a bag of 20 gummies was a little steep for me, so I searched online and came across a few sites offering these Modus gummies. The prices were a steal, especially compared to the store. In fact, I was able to order 3 vapes (8 grams total) three bags of gummies, plus a free gift which was a 3 gram vape and still paid $10 less than I would’ve at the store for one vape and a bag of gummies.
Is my Taurus showing yet? Anyway, I was really interested in Uppercut and Knockout blends. I enjoyed the Tapout edibles, but they were a different chemical makeup than the other two. So, of course, I wanted to know how well those worked and placed them in my cart right away. But I also wanted to try an Indica, so I got another bag of the Tapout gummies in Blue Taffy. Those were also amazing and you can see the full review here.
The company also had a lot of flavors sold out and I wanted to make sure I got one of each type. So the Uppercut blend was a Sativa and the Knockout blend was a hybrid.
I got the package late in the day, after I already took an edible. It took a lot of effort and energy to wait, but I made sure I had a nice big full breakfast the following morning so I could try the Uppercut sativa gummies.
Modus: Uppercut Blend 3.0 Saiva Gummy Overview (Guava & Passion Fruit)
Strength: 150mg per candy | Peak Effect: 2-3 hours |
Cannabinoids: D8 live resin, THCH, THCJD | Recommended Serving Size: 1 candy (150mg) |
Since I’ve tried the Modus brand before, I decided to start with two gummies. Although I’ll admit, since this was made up of different ingredients, that probably wasn’t the smartest idea. Overall, the situation worked out perfect for me.
Aside from this being a Sativa strain, I really wanted to try these gummies first because they included derivatives I wasn’t familiar with. According to the packet, the Modus Uppercut Blend is made with D8 live resin, THCH, and THCJD. Meanwhile, the Tapout Blend 3.0 is made with D11, D8 liquid diamonds, and THCA. While I’ve tried D8 live resin and was more familiar with THCA and THCP, I hadn’t tried THCJD or THCH before. Luckily, though, I had nothing to worry about. Each gummy was 150mg of their Stoner Blend, with one gummy being the recommended dose.
Two gummies had me feeling wonderful and Sativa is definitely Sativa. Within about 45 minutes to an hour, I started to feel the effects, but didn’t feel bogged down. I was still able to write articles, work on my computer, and still get shit done around the house. The Sativa for the Tapout Blend was the same and the Indica version did couch lock me. So I would say this brand is spot on with their labels.
Please keep in mind that I do eat a healthy diet, workout every day, and have a high metabolism and tolerance. I strongly suggest you start with the recommended dosage and experiment from there.
Modus: Uppercut Blend 3.0 Info
Take a break from gummies and try these caramels! These Utokia Caramels reminded us of our favorite chews!
The Modus brand and their gummies turned out to be way better than I thought. Especially after finding the Flying Horse gummies, I didn’t think I would find a gummy that compares. But I spoke far too soon, as these gummies are quickly growing on me. Even paying $30 at the store, these gummies were a better price than buying the equivalent in Flying Horses. If I had to guess, I would say two pieces (300mg) of the Modus gummies are equivalent to 500mg of the Flying Horse gummies, making them a little stronger.
Now that I found a website that’s nearly half the price, these gummies can’t be beat. I love that they’re smaller pieces so I have more control over the dosage. I love that their labeling is accurate and I know what effects to expect. Plus, the flavors are absolutely delicious. The first Tapout bag I got was assorted flavors.
There weren’t any labels, but I knew the blue, green, and pale-ish beige candies were so good. I later found out that the green was Mamba Melon, the blue was Blue Taffy, and the pale one was probably the Guava. This Uppercut bag was the Passion Fruit and Guava, with 10 pieces of each. Both flavors were delicious and I could see myself eating a few if they were traditional candies.
Overall, I’m not a gummy person and once I find a product that works well, it’s tough for me to switch my routine so quickly. However, these gummies were amazing and everybody I gave a piece to enjoye them as well.
Modus: Uppercut Blend 3.0 Personal Rating
Hopefully, by now, you know where this is going. These gummies were fantastic. The Modus brand is amazing. They’re growing on me and they can definitely expect another purchase in the very near future. Smell, Flavor, and Aftertaste beat Flying Horse by far, with all three categories scoring a 9 out of 10. The Assorted flavor bag was the right choice the first time around and luckily, I didn’t taste a flavor I didn’t like. Some were just even better than the delicious ones.
This bag in particular had one of my favorite ones and the bag smelled so sweet, so this bag scored a 9 for smell. There wasn’t much of an herb or earthy flavor and the aftertaste was good, too. While these gummies were still better than the Flying Horse texture-wise, there was still a little residue on my teeth that bothered me. Either way, though, it still scored an 8 out of 10.
The High Duration was as expected, about three to four hours, so that remained a 9. However, since I’m pretty sure these Modus blends are a little stronger than the Flying Horse, and they come in smaller pieces for better control, these gummies earned a 9.5 out of 10 for High Strength. Also, I would say the Uppercut Blend is stronger than the Tapout Blend, but overall are pretty tough to compare. In the end, the bring the final score to a 9 out of 10, tied with the Modus Tapout gummies.
Modus: Uppercut 3.0 Gummies Final Conclusion
The Modus brand blew me away. After I tried the first bag, I bought one of each of the other versions. I think that should say enough. In case not, I would definitely buy from this brand again and these gummies. however, I might stay away from the Indicas because that’s too much for me. But I already have another Sativa and Hybrid bag in my cart ready to go!
