I love smoking but when I first started I hated how rundown and tired I felt after sessions. I often felt like I was wasting my time lounging on the couch, but moving around felt like a chore. Little did I know, I just wasn’t smoking the right shit for the high I wanted.
I’ve since come to learn that I was looking for Sativa products. Simply put, THC can be broken into three categories: indica, sativa, and hybrid. Indica is a body high that can slow you down. In-da-couch is a great way to remember this. Meanwhile Sativa is a head High and can give you more of a boost. Indica is a combination of the both.
Once I discovered the world of Sativas, I rarely played around with indica and now I’m always looking for the best products that’s going to keep me in a productive mom mood but give me a nice high to get through my day. And now enter the Native Extracts Storyteller gummies.
Compared to some of the other formulas, these gummies are basic. Each gummy is composed of 50mg of Delta 8 THC. But don’t let the simple chemical makeup fool you because these were comparable to the Utokia Active gummies in my opinion.
Between running the blog, attending to other clients, social media marketing, being a mom, an intense workout schedule and so much more, my days are often jam-packed. I also travel out of state most weekends and I certainly need all the energy I can get. So when Misty recommended the Utokia Active gummies, I was stoked to give them a try.

Much like their Mood gummies, the Utokia Active gummies set a high standard for Sativa-like edibles going forward. So of course I was skeptical about the Native Extract but I was so happy that I gave them a fair shot.
These gummies are strong, which is a bold statement to make since I’ve noticed my tolerance increasing over the last few months. One gummy gave me a decent buzz but most times I opted for two. Or I would take one of their Mood gummies and one of these gummies for a well-rounded balance and I enjoyed every moment of it.
My schedule changed a little, and I found myself going to bed later and waking up earlier so these gummies definitely gave me a boost on groggy days. They tasted good and mixed well with their peach gummies. The aftertaste was manageable. Overall, I really enjoyed these gummies and they’re also cheaper than Utokia. So while I would say Utokia flavoring and texture is certainly better than the Native Extracts, I think I might lean toward purchasing the latter brand more often.
Either way though, comparing both these gummies was tough. We love Utokia over here and swear by their products. But in my opinion, Native Extracts Is a close second. But let’s see what Misty has to say when it’s time for her to share her two cents.
Native Extracts: Storyteller D8 Gummies Personal Rating
Honestly, these ratings are the same as the HHC gummies. I was impressed with the effects and I thought they complimented each other well. The Pineapple taste was so delicious, with minimal hemp flavor, and the smell was along the same lines. As a result, both categories earned an 8 out of 10. The Texture and Aftertaste certainly wasn’t the worst, but I’ve had a few gummies that were better. So to be fair, these Native Extract Storyteller gummies earned a 7 out of 10 for those categories.
When it comes to the High Strength and Duration, I was very happy with the product. They lasted just as long as most gummies I’ve had, maybe even a little longer. And I thought the strength was pretty high for even just one gummy. As I got more used to them and started mixing them, I often took two. But I think these are great for more experienced gardeners.
Final conclusion: I would 100% recommend and purchase these Native Extracts Storyteller gummies. These were comparable to the Utokia brand and at a better price point too. Overall, the effects are the same, maybe Native Extracts is even a little stronger. Meanwhile Utokia has a slightly better flavoring and texture. Both brands will remain in my stash though.
