This month, I couldn’t help myself and caved into my Taurus ways. I had enough change the previous month and craved my favorite High Leaf brand. And that’s exactly what I got.
I entered the smoke shop like a woman on a mission. The owner switched the layout around and now the vapes were right by the door. I didn’t have to go far. Narrowing down the choices was super easy this time around. I always go for a Sativa Vape (although I’m considering expanding into the hybrids soon), which only had 5 flavors to choose from. Three of them I had before: the THCA Russian Cream, Purple Haze and Strawberry Cough. So with two options left, I chose the Strawberry Shortcake, since it sounded like the best one.
The determination must’ve been all over my face because the owner didn’t persuade me to try a new brand or check out the new shipment of Flying Horse vape pens. He also took five dollars off. He smiled as he put it in the bag and told me to let him know how it was. Then I was on my merry way.
High Leaf Strawberry Shortcake Overview
Please don’t judge me as I make this confession: I usually don’t make it out of the parking lot. My partner says I’m a savage. My short, stubby fingers are tearing apart the packaging and peeling off the rubber stopper while I’m still in the parking spot. Then, with one hand on the wheel, I’m peeling out of the parking lot with the vape in my other hand as I take that first pull.
Am I proud? No. Do I have a problem? Yeah, I might. But luckily, it’s a straight shot to the house. It’s not a long drive and people aren’t usually around.
As I took that first pull and drove down the long road to my house, I knew I made the right decision. As much as I enjoyed last month’s haul, this High Leaf brand hits the best. It’s THCA and made with liquid diamonds, which is said to be one of the most flavorful and potent cannabis concentrates available. Luckily, it certainly lives up to the expectations. The high is strong, the flavor is powerful, and it doesn’t burn as quickly as other vape oils.
The High Leaf vapes are small and compact. They’re one of the smallest vape pens Ive owned, but they have 8 grams of THC and last me at least the month.
Strawberry Shortcake Is a Sativa Dominant Strain

To make the drive even better, the Strawberry Shortcake flavor was yummy! The strawberry was strong and there was a hint of spiciness to the aftertaste. Unfortunately, though, the strawberry flavor didn’t stand out as much after about two weeks. The high was comparable to the other High Leaf vapes. It didn’t slow me down or make me tired, but I did double check to ensure that Strawberry Shortcake was Sativa dominant. Overall, it was a great vape and was everything I needed.
According to Allbud, Strawberry Shortcake has a high THC percentage, coming in at about 20%. It’s also a sativa dominant hybrid strain. This strain is a cross of:

The Strawberry Shortcake strain is known for boosting creativity, which was perfect for me as I wrote articles. It’s also known for uplifting your spirits. This strain also helped increase my focus. Some say it can prompt a desire for more social interactions, although I remained as antisocial as ever. However, this strain can improve depression, stress, fatigue, and ADHD for those who might need extra help managing their symptoms.
Russian Cream By High Leaf Vape Personal Rating
This strain and vape earned a full 7 out of 10 nuggets. The flavor was strong and powerful, which High Leaf was known for. However, compared to the Russian Cream, it wasn’t as strong and didn’t last as long, so the Strawberry Shortcake earned an 8 in that department. The pull force was easy as always and the high strength was comparable to the other High Leafs.
I did think this strain clogged just a little more than the others, so this strain earned a slightly higher score, coming in at 3. Overall though, it was a great vape by one of my favorite companies and I would definitely purchase this again. It was a great companion to the Firestarter and Platinum Kush strains I got this month.
Final conclusion: I love High Leaf and they continue to impress. I would definitely buy from this brand and this strain again!
