I was intrigued to find that Utokia sells Catnip Joints for my cats. As a crazy cat lady to twelve furry felines, I’m always hunting for delightful treats and toys to keep my pets entertained and occupied so they don’t tear up my house. I have a small jar of generic catnip that comes with each cat scratcher I purchase, but my cats never seemed to like that catnip much.

They may sniff and roll in it for 10 minutes, but then they’re done. Even when I smelled it, it didn’t have a strong, potent odor, so I knew it wasn’t the best. I mean, what could I expect from a free packet that comes with a cat scratcher!? So, when I saw these Catokia Catnip Joints on the Utokia website, I was skeptical about purchasing them, but they were inexpensive, so what could I lose?
I didn’t think my crew would care for them. Oh boy, was I wrong! They were sniffing and pawing at the package, trying to get into it before I could even open it up. To see the pure joy on their feline faces was truly priceless.

I liked these Catokia Catnip Joints because they were not messy, like most catnip packages can be. These are wrapped to look exactly like a joint with digestible paper, in case your furry friend licks through the paper to get to the catnip (which mine did). My two kittens actually ate the paper, so I was thankful these are edible.
I could hardly get one to the floor before my cats were jumping and pawing to get them from me. Utokia warns that your cats may experience the following side effects: Spontaneous acrobatic performances, excessive purring, sudden bursts of energy, increased appetite for treats, and overwhelming cuteness. Please do not take this warning lightly! My cats had every side effect listed. Don’t worry, these do not contain cannabis, only 100% organic catnip, so they are completely safe for cats of all ages.

Rating pet products is quite different because I’m only observing, not feeling for myself. I rate the physical effects of these Catokia Catnip Joints 9/10. You can smell the catnip scent as soon as you open the package. Once I handed out these Catnip Joints, they were super excited for them. I have tried several brands of catnip, but my cats have never been so excited to grab these out of my hand. Attitude changes get a 10/10 from me because my cat’s pupils got so dilated and huge in less than two minutes with these Catokia Catnip Joints.
They instantly plopped down and rolled on the Catnip Joints. After rolling in the catnip for about ten minutes, my cats got happy and started running and playing like crazy for a while. Afterward, they all conked out and napped for hours. Then, they woke up to eat. I rate the stress/anxiety relief of this Utokia product a definite 10/10. I could see the excitement in my cat’s eyes as their stress and anxiety melted away as soon as they could smell the catnip. Even my spicy kitty, Amber, was coexisting with my other cats to enjoy the Catnip Joints…if that doesn’t tell you something about how amazing these are!
The positive side effects, I rate 8/10 as my cats loved these! All 12 cats were happy, excited, energized, running, playing with each other, and were eager to get to these Catokia Catnip Joints. I rate the negative side effects a 9/10, as there weren’t many. The Catnip Joints made all my cats sleepy and hungry, which means these can’t be an everyday treat. My overall rating for these Utokia: Catokia Catnip Joints is a 9/10.
All 12 of my cats loved these. I loved how quickly they showed up in my mailbox… just six short days after I ordered. The artwork on the packaging is gorgeous and I love the feel of it. These Catnip Joints come in just under $3.00 each. They’re worth a try if you want your furr babies to feel amazing!
